Rev. Remargo Yancie

Remargo Yancie has been involved with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) for nearly three decades. He is a former missionary to South Africa who was supported and commissioned by two flagship PCA churches. He holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Covenant Theological Seminary, where he served as a cohort leader for incoming students in subsequent years. Formerly, he also served as a group leader and board member of FirstLight, a Christian support group ministry based in St. Louis, MO. 

Remargo is a registered therapist and founded Central Light Counseling to provide quality counseling and care to the church and the greater community. He joyfully works with leaders, influencers, and couples on their journeys in life. Before joining the African American Ministries leadership team, he served for eight years as a pastor in the Grace DC network in “Chocolate City” (Washington, DC).

Through AAM, Remargo aids in advancing African American leadership in the PCA, overseeing virtual cohorts, and cultivating strategic partnerships that support AAM’s mission and vision. 

Remargo, who generally goes by “Yancie,” is a family man. He is married to Kristal, his incredible partner in life. They have five beautiful and excited-about-life children: George “Geo,” Pearl, Skye, Jade, and Rain.
