Thurman Williams currently serves as the Pastor of New City Fellowship – West End, a new church plant and new site of New City Fellowship in St. Louis. Prior to that, he served in various churches and ministries including Grace and Peace Fellowship (St. Louis, Associate Pastor), New Song Community Church (Baltimore, Pastor), Faith Christian Fellowship Church (Baltimore, Minister of Outreach and Youth), Young Life (staff member). He completed his Masters of Divinity at Chesapeake Theological Seminary and Doctor of Ministry at Covenant Theological Seminary. His dissertation is entitled, “Christ-Centered Preaching in Hip Hop Culture.” Thurman currently serves on various committees including the Mission to North America (as Chairman), the Missouri Presbytery Credentials Committee, and the Reconciliation and Kingdom Justice Committee. He is an adjunct professor in homiletics at Covenant Seminary.
Thurman has been married to his lovely wife, Evie, for 21 years and they have been blessed with four beautiful children, Charvez, Shaquana, Joshua, and Caleb.
